The North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Ashe County Center in collaboration with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture will provide recertification classes for individuals with a current pesticide license as scheduled below:

2024 Training Dates: X Credits V Credits
March 19, 2024 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
September 24, 2024 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The March class will be held in person. The September class will be held in person and via Zoom. Those attending remotely over Zoom do not have to register. Please visit ashe.ces.ncsu.edu for the link on the day of the class.

Limited seating for in person instruction will be available on a first come, first serve basis with registration required below. Classes are held at the Agriculture Service Center, 134 Law Enforcement Drive, Jefferson, North Carolina.

Individuals who need to obtain a pesticide license may take the exam as follows (please bring a pencil, calculator and identification to take the test and also a check for fees):

  • March 7, 2024  – 1:00 p.m.

Fees are determined by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture.

In order to receive credit, participants must have their computer camera on for the duration of the training. Participants should also have their pesticide license number available during the meeting.
