NC Cooperative Extension, Ashe County Center proudly serves the residents of Ashe County, The Coolest Corner of North Carolina.

We provide educational programs, resources, and support to residents throughout Ashe County. As part of the statewide North Carolina Cooperative Extension system, the center brings research and expertise from NC State Extension and N.C. A&T State University directly to the community.

Local Extension Agents work with farmers, families, youth, and community members through programs in agriculture and natural resources, 4-H youth development, nutrition and family wellness, and community development.
