Registration is now available for Adventures in Life: Skills for Your Future! This event is free for youth ages 5-18 and will go live on Monday, August 10, 2020. It will be offered in an asynchronous, online format at the participants own pace. You can register through Eventbrite. Registration will remain open until Monday, August 10, at 8 a.m., and the program will last until Friday, August 14.

Program Details

Follow along with Ashe County 4-H in this three-part series including Make Moves, Make Meals, and Make Mindfulness, as you learn life skills for your future.

Section Details

Make Moves: Join our 4-H Agent, Caroline, as you learn skills not often taught in school like how to check the oil in a vehicle, changing a tire, healthy living concepts, and other topics to be announced.

Make Meals: Join us in growing, preserving, and cooking with herbs in Ms. Rhonda’s garden!

Make Mindfulness: Follow our FCS Agent, Amanda, as she introduces the concept of mindfulness and how we practice it. This series includes projects we can do and actions we can take to care for our planet and the creatures on it, including ourselves!
