Ashe Extension Gardener Early Spring Lawn Tips

— Written By

While we are under executive “Stay at Home” orders, gardening is no longer a past time, but a focus on an activity we do while practicing social distancing. COVID-19 may very well inspire a new wave of gardening and with it a quest for knowledge. While we know there will be a plethora of questions, we hope that videos, articles, and documents posted to our new Ashe Extension Gardener tab (see left side of main screen) will be helpful to you. As we work to increase the content available through our webpage, don’t forget to like us on Facebook and Instagram, @NCCEAshe. Below you will find our first video on March Lawn Tips (still applies for first of April).

Summary of the video:

  • Service lawn care equipment
  • Mow at correct height
  • Don’t fertilize too early
